Question

Catalogue View of "Unflagged" photos?

I have just finished adding almost 3,500 digitized (scanned) family photos (three generations) into my Lightroom Classic Catalogue.  I have created a comprehensive structure of Collections and begun assigning each photo (flagging them) to its respective Collection.  I DESPERATELY NEED to be able to have a Catalogue view of "Unflagged Photos," so I don't have to keep going through the same ones, using the All Photos view.  Is there a way to set/create a catalogue view (or search criteris) that would select only unassigned photos (thereby reducing the remaining number of pictures available in my grid)?

Thanks,

Gary

Thanks, very much.  The attribut selection worked; however it requires a two-step process.  After applying the attirubte and only seeing unflagged photos, it is necessary to: 1. Drag each photo to the Collection I want it in, and then 2. Go back and flag the photo as a choice -- which causes it to disappear from the view.  Then continue, thus reducing the unassigned photos.  It is working with this new process, and I have reduced the task by over 300 photos ... working towards, "0."

You are talking about "flags" and saying you are "assigning them to a collection (flagging them)"  which are two different things.  Why dont you use the method in the answer to your similar question in 2020

You can use the Library Filter [ \ ] (Attributes) to show you Flagged, Unflagged or Rejected: Set to Unflagged

or

You can create a Smart collection where Pick Flag is Unflagged
