Question

Change Lightroom 6 cc 2015.14 Process from 2012 to 2014

I bought my LR 6 as a stand alone and do not wish to update it to a subscription.
My LR 6 shows up as 2015.14  with a maximum Process  Value 2012. There are features available in Process Value 2014 which are not in 2012. I need these features.
Reviews I read discuss how to click the lightning bolt under the histogram to change the process value. My LR does not have a lightning bolt under the histogram. And in the Settings drop down, the highest process value available is 2012. End game... use the features available in LR 6 with Process Value 2014. Please tell me how to do with without buying a subscription.

Thank you for helping me understand.
As I read the thoughtful replies I now understand...
my stand alone, and paid for, LR 6 (2015.14)  with a maximum Process Value 2012 is the best I can get without a paid subscription.

Apparently those tasty reviews of V6 with PV 2014 and Mask Range
(e.g. lightroom range masking matt kloskowski)
are /were ONLY available on V6 when tied to an active paid CC account.

Thanks for saving me the time of deleting and re-installing only to be disappointed.

While I can have google find references to Lightroom Process 2012, it finds no references to Lightroom Process 2014. I think that Lightroom Process 2014 does not exist, and you are actually looking for something else that has a different name, but I do not know what. What is the URL for the reference you mentioned to Lightroom range masking?

    Hello,

I do not think you have much of a Choice f you really want that new Features. LR6 is very old. The last standalone version released was Lightroom 6.14. Hope that helps.

    regards,Henrik

Nothing you can do but upgrade to the subscription version with the newer PVs.
