Changing capture time isn't 'sticking' and photos revert back to original time.

I shoot weddings across 4 x Sony A7IV's and sync camera times by photographing a phone, typically around 4000 photos.
Since V13.4 the time on random photos has reverted back to the original time. All the photos are in a collection that syncs to the cloud, I suspect, (but don't know), that the cloud version is overwriting the most recent version on desktop and changing the time back.

That sounds like a plausible explanation. LR 13.3 completely reimplemented cloud sync and it's got bugs. Unfortunately, Adobe is unlikely to pay much attention unless you can provide a very precise step-by-step recipe for reproducing the problem, including a sample photo(s) upload to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar with the sharing link here.
