I've tested and find them working as normal.  Clicking on Magenta/Green Fringing does turn the color aberration to neutral.

I tried on several photos but the eyedropper no longer corrects chromatic aberration.

Your LrC version cleraly shows that you've manually adjusted the Purple and Green Hues away from their neutral possition (i.e. 70/30 and 60/40 respectively).

Try resetting 'Defringe' by holding down the Alt/option key and mouse-clicking on the text to the right of the Eye-dropper tool. See attached screenshot.

Hello Ian

resetting the defringe changes the values but the colours appear as before. The problem is not that in LrC the defringe with the eyedropper does not work but that it does not change the view of the action. If I apply the defringe in LrC and then open the photo in PS then I see the change.

Is it a bug?
