Question

Color Marked and View-Options not showing up

Hello,

Since updating to version 13.5 today from the previous version, I've been encountering a frustrating problem.
As background information, my catalog is very large.

I've noticed that loading the metadata takes an extremely long time (see Screenshot 01).
This was never an issue with the previous version.

Due to this never-ending loading process, my color-marked pictures aren't displaying their colors properly (see Screenshot 02).
Additionally, in the left folder view, albums no longer show the number of pictures they contain (see Screenshot 03).
Another issue is that my "View Options," which are set to display the filename, ISO, or focal length (and can be switched using the "I" shortcut), aren't showing anything or switching as they should.

Is this a known bug? I really don't want to reset all my preferences, as support often suggests.

No, this is not a known bug. Reset your preferences as suggested. Doing that is not a big deal.

But it is a Bug, right?

If I reset all the preferences I have to setup all settings again?

As I let Lightroom Classic open over night, I think it fixed it somehow itself.

Maybe the update had to re-read all metadata again.

Hence resetting the preferences wouldn't even help in this case.
