Compare photos not available in Develop module anymore

Hello! I recently found photo comparison is moved to Library module.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was available in Develop module a short time ago. Now I'm not able to use any tool and make edits while in comparison view.

Here is an example- using the eyedropper tool I was able to color grade my images by picking colors from random uploaded photos.

I'm attaching a screenshot from Youtube video where I learned this method:

I'm still able to color grade without photo comparing and picking colors from the thumbs on the photo strip, however this is not very precise.

Any chance to have the comparing photos feauture in Develop module again?

I believe you are talking about 'Reference View' which is still available on the Tool bar by clicking on the [R|A] icon or keyboard [Shift+R]. After which you then drag a Reference photo from the Filmstrip.

If you don't see the toolbar -press keyboard [T]

Like @Rob_Cullen said, you are confusing Compare view (which is indeed in the Library module and always was) and Reference view, which still is in the Develop module. You can also activated it from the Library module as follows. Right-click on the photo you want to compare your working image with and choose 'Set as Reference Image'. Then right-click on the photo you want to edit and choose 'Open in Reference View'.
