Consistent zoom amount in develop module

Question

Is there a way to change the zoom amount in Develop from "percentage" to "pixels"?

I'm a wedding photographer, and I edit photos from different cameras with different resolutions (megapixels), so it's super frustrating that the only way to set the size of the image on my screen is by percentage of the pixels. I'm constantly zooming in and out to accommodate vertical vs horizontal, and a 33mp photo vs a 24mp photo.

I know you can choose "Fit to screen", but that is often a little too large for me. But if it can "fit to screen", then it's already able to display each photo at an arbitrary pixel height. Can I customize this? It seems trivial, but I don't see the option.

I don't think so.

In the Develop Module, you can zoom in by holding down the Ctrl key and zooming with the mouse by dragging diagonally to cover the area of interest, perhaps this gets you close to what you want?
