I've created a slideshow in Lightroom Classic that includes slides with NEF, DNG, HEIC, and MP4 files. It plays perfectly on my PC. I tried exporting it as a PDF, but the videos didn't work. I tried exporting it as a video, but I don't like not being able to move from slide to slide at will and some of the videos don't play in full because of how long each slide plays.
I think that if I could copy the slideshow to my iPhone I could then cast it to the TV and that would work perfectly. The question is how do I do that?
Hey @RanchoBob949!
Yep, it should be pretty straightforward. If all your photos are syncing, you’ll just need to create a new album with only the photos you want in the slideshow.
I recorded a quick video to show how to create a slideshow—it might look a little different on your end since I’m using Android and you’re on iPhone, but the steps should be similar!
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions 😊

Hi @NotAnselAdams!
Ah, I see now—thanks for pointing that out, and my apologies for missing the fact that your slideshow includes videos. Unfortunately, videos are one of the few things that don’t sync from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom Mobile. You can read more about that here: https://adobe.ly/4liU6au
If you’d like to get your videos into Lightroom Mobile, it does take a few extra steps. You’ll need to migrate your catalog to the Lightroom cloud, which will then sync across your devices. This

Hi @RanchoBob949!
One option that might work well is syncing your Lightroom Classic photos to Lightroom Mobile on your phone. From there, you can easily turn the collection into a slideshow right within the mobile app. https://adobe.ly/3TlpTv8
Hope that helps—and let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you very much for the idea. I'm struggling on how to get the collection or slideshow from Lightroom Classic on my PC to my iPhone. Can you point me to where I might be missing something?
Thank you!

Hi @RanchoBob949!
To do that, you can create a synced collection to choose the specific photos you want in your slideshow and sync them to Lightroom Mobile. Here’s how you can set that up: https://adobe.ly/4n9jmSc
Are there any particular steps that are giving you trouble? Let me know—I’d be happy to help!
Thanks!

I think I'm making progress, but I'm trying to only sync a 143 image collection. The system seems to be trying to sync over 3,000 images, which I assume means that it's syncing all images from my phone to LRC on my PC and/or the cloud.
All I really want to do is sync the slideshow I created to my phone so that I can share it with family when I visit. Am I going to be able to do that after the sync is completed?

@Aleke Thank you very much.
With the one folder from my PC synced to my phone, is there a way to find just the photos that are in that folder rather than those photos being mixed in with all the photos from my iPhone as well?

Hi @NotAnselAdams! In the Lightroom view, try tapping the option at the top that says "All Photos." That should bring up a dropdown menu where you can pick the album you want to view.
Hope that helps—let me know if you have any other questions!

I think I'm down to a final issue--and did find that the LRC iPad interface is much easier to work with than the iPhone.
My catalog/slideshow on my desktop has 149 slides including a handful with movies (mov files). When I sync to my iPad or iPhone, the images show up but the movies don't and I end up with 137 slides there.
How do I get it to sync the mov files?
Thank you!

Alternatively, you could send the video files to your iPad, once they’re on your device, they should show up in Lightroom Mobile.
Let me know if you’d like help with any of the steps—I’m happy to walk you through it!
Thanks again,

Perfect! Most of the videos were too large to email, so I used Dropbox to get them to my iPad and then it was a slam dunk.
Thank you so much for your patience and assistance!
