CR3 files not opening with version 11.4.1 even after Updates

I just updated creative cloud, and my lightroom classic will not open CR3 files from an R6 Canon. I installed the Camera Raw plug in as well, but that does nothing for lightroom. It says Preview Not Available for all the photos in lightroom. Please help! Do I need to update creative cloud again? I have a subscription so I don't understand why the updates won't work for it.

    Make sure that the copy of LrC you have open is anything newer than v9.4 (ref 1). Is it possible that you have more than one version installed???

     

    In LrC, click on Help, click on About Lightroom Classic.

     

     

     

     

     

    I installed the Camera Raw plug in as well, but that does nothing for lightroom.

     

     

     

    Yep, that is for PS and Bridge, not for LrC, the ACR is internal to the LrC coding, the ACR plugin is not used by LrC, just PS and Bridge.

    Just the 11.4.1 version is what I have.

    That is a two years old version. Lightroom Classic 13 was just released! Maybe your hardware or Windows version is too old to support that?
