Dear Community...
I have a big work to do.... but Lightroom isn't working anymore stable. Every 1-10 minutes its crashing without a report!
Just while I m switching to the next photo (in edit mode), changing the stars of a photo...or just scrolling through.
What the heck is going on?!
I have just made more space on my catalog SSD, optimized the catalog and now this... :'(...
I have also updated now to the newest LRCC Version - but its still crashing.
My System: Windows 10
AMD 5900X,
AMD 6700XT with 24.4.1 (I know its not the latest, but I hadn't problems with LR in the past and had nothing changed for the GPU etc.!)
64GB Ram
I feel really really alone with this... the supportpage isn't a help, no hints to a ticket system, nothing to a crash report folder etc... really bad support options for a long year payed user. The community has to help now?! "_"

You can see the freez (this time the complete system was frozen for 30sek!!) after the heavy peak on some cores...

I think the problem was the activated GPU for processing... wow. AMD & LR are still not compatible!? After this long time -.-"

Their have been reported issues with AMD GPU drivers causing all sorts of issues. Appears problem relates to newer updates to the Adrenalin software. Problem is the software, the controll for the GPU in a bid to improve GPU performance, accisentaly trats LrC as a game, and some of the settings that get applied foul up the GPU for LrC.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.

Is 15GB to small?

No, should be Ok, some members have the Adobe default of 5 GB, that is not Ok.
So this is probably not the issue. But you may want to experiment. Adobe actually recommends 20 GB minimum (while stating that the default of 5 GB is too low)
The more photos you edit during a session, the larger you may need it.

Adding to the earlier reply concerning the AMD Adrenalin software , can you share a screenshot of that?
probably looks like this:
That from another member who had issues, (I think the image was the solution) see:

Big thanks for your help and time!! 🙂
I have deactivated sharpener and anti-lag.
So lets see... if this doesn't help at all, then I think the catalog is broken after the optimisation of it O.o.
BTW; I have also updated the driver to the newest one.
