Date of image is changed to today for TIF
When I view a TIF file the date is being changed to today from when the image was created. Any idea why?
TIA!

Yeah, it then is Luminar AI.
Thanks!
When a photo is missing capture date in its metadata, LR uses the operating system's last-modified date of the photo's file, and as you modify the file (e.g. by editing it in an external program or by doing Metadata > Save Metadata To File), LR will update the catalog capture date to the current last-modified date.
You can stop LR from doing that annoying behavior by selecting the photo and doing Metadata > Edit Capture Time.
