When using the dehaze slider it either turns the image black directly in the develop mode or (if using dehaze as a mask) will export as a black image.

The only long term fix I seem to have found is removing a certain plugin from Lightroom, Pixieset. Maybe it's some interaction with various plugins? This solution makes no real sense to me but figured I would share the information since Adobe isn't helpful on this.

This issue once again happened, mid-gallery edit while applying dehaze to one image fine, and then the next image i applied it to turned black as well as the preceding image. Restarting my computer fixed the issue, however this is not a long term fix. adobe - please for the love of god fix this i cant restart my computer every time this occurs.

It continued happening to me with clients breathing over my shoulder. Finally I clean installed Sonoma, Lightroom, photoshop, photo mechanic & Dropbox. So far so good. Also severely reduced the amount of images in my LR catalog. To me it acts like a graphics/display problem. I'll let you know of it happens again with the clean install...

Same here. Annoying 😞

my workaround for a while: works "better" when "usage of graphic processor" in Performance is switched off.

This issue is persisting for me. My system info is below. I have uninstalled lightroom and reinstalled, turned off GPU and while i can see the edits in lightroom with GPU turned off, the images get exported as fully black. I have updated my graphics cards.

I'm having the same issue FREQUENTLY! I restart Lightroom and occasionally the computer. The problem has persisted since LR 12. Was hoping 13.1 would be a fix. Really problematic!

restarting my computer between opening catalogs seems to have helped
