I have a brand new computer with what should be an adequate GPU. It actually processes Denoise slower than my old computer with less RAM, etc. Here is the performance info for the new computer. What am I missing?

I don't any experience with Intel Arc except knowing that it’s relatively recent and in theory, should be decent (not the slowest, but not the fastest), it should certainly be a lot faster than 40 minutes. But I came across this article on the Intel website that specifically mentions Adobe AI Denoise, and it sounds like Intel may be aware of a graphics driver issue with Intel Arc graphics. So a desecrate GPU with 4 GB of VRAM, as opposed to an integrated video control with no RAM. Ok
Just 4 GB, mostly Ok, could be better
Windows Store driver version (31.0.101.4575). I think a newer one exists. Check on that.

So it’s down to around 20 minutes? You are correct that the problem is not solved. Especially if you are aware of how fast AI Denoise runs on recent PCs and Macs…
Cheap or old computers: Over 5 minutes per frame, sometimes 30 minutes or more
Affordable recent computers with a decent GPU: 1 to 2 minutes per frame
Current computers with a top-end GPU and maybe an NPU too: 5 to 20 seconds per frame
My Core i5 from 2018 with the terrible old Intel Integrated Graphics takes 2 to 3 minutes per frame. So 20 minutes is still totally unacceptable, given that Intel Arc is a relatively new and improved GPU from Intel. I hope they can iron out the rest of the performance problems.

(If you are open to Mac laptops, the midrange models and up also do well with AI Denoise, my MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip from 2021 does AI Denoise in 30 to 70 seconds per image depending on the number of megapixels.)
