Develop module in LR classic is disabled

I am using Lightroom 5.5 on my Mac and when I go to the Develop Module it says "develop module is disabled. Please renew your membership to reactivate the Develp Module." I pay the monthly subscription and I logged into Adobe online and my membership is active. My Mac is on Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.5 and Lightroom is using the 64 bit app. What do I need to do to be able to use the Develop module again?!

If you do pay for a plan, then you should have the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App on your computer

Do you? Are you signed in? What version of LrC does it indicate?

Yes, I have the Photography Plan but when I viewed my apps, I didn't have any of them downloaded so I'm trying to download the creative cloud and Lightroom Classic now.

Well, based on that System Info report, you are launching an old standalonr version 5 Lightroom, from before subscription.

Now, if you are paying for one of the Adobe CC Plans, perhaps the Photography Plan, then you are launching the wrong copy. At worst, it should so up as v6, latest would be v10 and it would be called Lightroom Classic.

So, do you have more than one copy installed?

Okay, thank you. I'm not sure if I have more than one version installed but I'll see if I can figure that out.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

I don't understand the version number. Are you really using version 5.5? That is an ancient version from before the creative cloud was introduced! Lightroom Classic is now at version 10!
