Hi Bill. I have found the solution.
myportfolio uses the metadata field "Bildunterschrift" from LR. I think in the English version the field is called "Caption".
With the plug-in search and replace from lightroomsolutions.com it is possible to transfer a string of further metadata from LR and own texts into this field.

Other than manipulating watermarks or adding text in photoshop, probably not.  I tried, but could not find that option anywhere on my Portfolio.
