DJI Air3s telephoto lens issues

Hey, just got a DJI Air3s which has a 24mm and a 70mm lens.  When taking with the 70mm lens, the photos import to LR just the same view as the 24mm lens.  On the preview import view though you can see the difference in focal length.  when in develop mode though, it switches back to just the 24 mm view.

I cant find any solutions to this anywhere.  The lenses are physical lenses and not digital zoom.

Hi @misc_images, welcome to the community!

Could you let us know which version of Lightroom Classic you're using? If you’re able to share a few sample RAW files, that would be super helpful for testing on our end. You can upload them to a file sharing service like Google Drive or Dropbox and share a public link here.

Thanks so much!

Alek

@Aleke

thanks, Here's a couple of Raw files in the link below, the 004 is the 24mm raw, and the 005 is the 70mm.  As can be seen by the thumbnails, there is a difference in the photos

This is a camera issue, not a LR problem. The 0005 DNG's metadata indicates it was taken with the 24mm lens:

[EXIF] Lens Info                       : 24mm f/1.8
[EXIF] Lens Model                      : 24.0 mm f/1.8
[XMP]  Lens Info                       : 24mm f/1.8
[XMP]  Lens                            : 24.0 mm f/1.8

The RawDigger utility, which displays the raw pixels, shows the raw image as being taken with the same lens as the 0004 DNG (also 24mm):

The 0005 DNG contains two smaller JPEG preview images, one 960 x 540 pixels and the other 160 x 90 pixels.  These previews are what LR shows when it first imports the photo and what are displayed by most other image viewers, such as Windows Photos and Windows File Explorer.

What's strange is that they were taken with the 70mm lens, not the 24mm lens:

So the camera has recorded the raw pixels from the 24mm lens but JPEG previews from the 70mm lens!
