Dust Spot removal, Where did Visualize Spots go?

Where has the visualize spots gone to on my LrC cc? Did I loose it or was it removed in the latest update? Need to remove some dust spots and that was my go to workflow tool. Thank you in advance.

It was so easy to click on the visualize spots and see the contrast black and white that was adjustable to see the spots easier.

You have probably hidden the toolbar, press T to display it.

You can also press A to turn on Visualize spots, but you need the toolbar to adjust the contrast.

That was the right answer back in 2022, but the Visualize Spots button now has been moved; it's not on the Toolbar anymore. It's found opening the Remove tool just above the Basic panel.. There's a checkbox to toggle Visualize Spots on and off, and a slider to increase/decrease the gain. And as Per Bernsten suggests, toggling the A key on after toggling Visualize Spots on helps identify them even better.

Hi @David Ayars  A good update. One small addition to your answer- If the Heal Tool (Bandaid icon) is active you don't need to click the mouse on the Visualize 'box'-  Simply press keyboard [ A ] -its on. Press [ A ] again- its off.

Might suggest that I am a keen user of keyboard shortcuts. 🙂

and Thank you very much also  @Per Berntsen

That was it.  I was going nuts trying to figure out where that went.  I love that feature and rely on it quite frequently

It is located on the Toolbar. The KBSC is [ T ] Pressing it toggles the bar on and off. You may have inadvertently turned it off.
