Im currently using Lightroom Classic. When I use the edit in photoshop feature I have no editing functions available to me except a few basic ones like the heal tool. All my drop downs are grayed out and I cant use most right click functions. Any idea whats causing this? Thanks for the help.

This is a recent bug. Either open PS first, or simply close the file in PS without saving and go back to LR and send it again.

Well, today Adobe has updated PS, looks like it fixes the LR to PS issue

I'm having this exact same issue. This just started in the past couple of days. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both CC PhotoShop and Lightroom Classic - I'm using Mac OS 11.6 - I right-click on the mouse to get a menu of options - they work OK - the Edit In Option only opens a menu that's all grey - nothing works in that menu.
Anyone have suggestions for a solution? Thx!

Grey 'Edit-In' menu may be caused by-
1) The photo is 'missing'. Lightroom does not know where the original photo is stored- it has been deleted, renamed, moved, by the OS outside of Lr. Grid view thumbnail is showing a [!] on the border? (or possibly a corrupt file)
2) You are using 'Smart Previews' and the original file is not connected to the computer or available to Lightroom. (eg. external usb drive not connected). Plug in the external drive- check that it is using the same Name/Letter as before. (Also see the link for Missing photos)
3) Lightroom and Photoshop are not linked correctly in Registry/plist. See this link-

Bob_Cullen, thanks for your detailed response. I tried all of those steps and finally resorted to conta cting Adobe support. The problem had to do with newer versions of Photoshop. The support person finally had to uninstall the most recent version of CC Photoshop and install and earlier version, 2 or 3 versions back, then re-up the versions to the present version. He also deleted all of my preferences. I never found what exactly caused the glitch and it took almost 3 hours to correct the issue but thanks to Adobe suppport, I'm back to editing in Photoshop directly from Lightroom Classic.

Pleased they fixed it for you.
In my experience, I have found, to fix strange errors, use the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool to wipe all Adobe files, then re-install the Apps afresh.
This may have been what Support did with your system.
