Edit in Photoshop -> all options are grayed out in photoshop

Hello,

When I try to bring lightroom images to photoshop to edit them, things like filters and image size options are grayed out and not selectable. Selection tools also do not behave properly, and none of my keyboard shortcuts work.

Recently uninstalled and reinstalled both Lightroom and Photoshop, and made sure both are updated. Still experiencing the issue.

This is a known bug in Photoshop.

As a workaround, disable the Home screen in Preferences > General in Photoshop, or make sure Photoshop is running before sending the image from Lightroom.

Well, today Adobe has updated PS, looks like it fixes the LR to PS issue

This absolutely works and is fool-proof, for the LATEST LR CC Classic + PS CC versions.

Just change Preferences:General in PS to CHECK the Disable the Home Screen option - in other words block it from starting when PS starts - then everything works.  No need to pre-start PS or anything else.

two workarounds

1. Before sending an image from LR to PS, start PS
