Edit in Photoshop not opening image

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's specific to me, but since the 13.0.1 update, I'm having trouble editing files in Photoshop. Usually I do right click, edit in - Photoshop. Sometimes now the word Photoshop is grayed out. Sometimes it isn't and when I managae to use the context-menu command, Photoshop opens but my image file does not.

That would probably be my last resort, Johan. Is there no other way to fix this w/o having to reinstall the software?

Not that I know, and uninstalling/reinstalling is not a big deal at all. Just keep the preferences when you are asked about this during uninstalling.

Hi all,

We're sorry for the challenges you're experiencing while sending files from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop for further editing. If you're still facing trouble, please refer to the troubleshooting article, which offers solutions to address the following problems:

  1. The "Edit In" command is grayed out.
  2. The "Edit In Photoshop" command is missing.
  3. The "Edit In" command fails to open photos in Photoshop.

We hope the suggested solutions in the article will assist in resolving the issue.

Thanks,

Nikunj

Usually this problem is solved if you uninstall both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, and then reinstall Photoshop first and then Lightroom Classic.
