Question

Edited Photos not displaying, or being indicated in Library

When I save edits to photos the Library is not displaying the icon below the photo that tells me it has been edited, and it reverts to the original unedited image in the thumbnail.  I didn't intentionally do anything to make this change.  Any suggestions are helpful.  Thanks in advance...

In the Library module, in Grid View:

In the Top Menu -> View ->  View Options, tab at top Grid View, click on Show Grid View Extras.

Which app are you talking about? Lightroom (cloud based) or Lightroom Classic?

In Lightroom Classic, you don't "Save" the work you have done. The saving is done continuously in the catalog. You don't have to actually "Save" anything. In the thumbnails of Lightroom Classic little icons show up in the bottom lower  righthand area of the image, not below it. Is that what you are talking about?  Please give a complete description from start to finish of your procedure.

Hi Ken,

I'm not saving, just clicking to next photo, or between Library and Edit- The icon that I have edited photo is not appearing anywhere.

My procedure is simple- Load photos to external hard drive, Import from external hard drive, edit, export edited photos to external hard drive in separate folder using only lightroom.
