Error code:16 - Lightroom 6.14

Have been using Lightroom 6.14 on my Mac OS Monterey 12.5.1 and a few days ago encountered Error Code:16 which closes LR.

On starting LR the splash screen loads the program begins opening and starts to load my files and thumbnails but then after a few seconds closes.

Have been trying to find a solution via the posts but cannot find anything that works for me to get LR open.

I have tried to delete the - Lightroom 6 Master Mobile Catalog.lrcat.lock file but this did not solve the problem and a new .lock file was created automatically.

I have tried to open LR via the previous back-up but this does not work either.

Any help or sugestions - thank you

Thank you for the responses.

To JohanElzenga -  I followed all the steps and allowed full disk access as per all the steps in the link provided and (Thank you for the link to with its clear instructions) I restarted the computer but unfortunately this failed to solve the issue.

To dj_paige - Many thanks also for your input and the link to the reset procedure. I am thrilled to report that this solved the issue and I am now able to open LR.

Thank you both again for taking the time to respond

Check this: Apple changed the security requirements in MacOS Monterey. Go to MacOS 'System Settings - Security & Privacy' and add Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to "Full Disk Access". Click on the lock icon to unlock the settings, then click on the plus icon to add Lightroom Classic and/or Photoshop if it isn't already listed. If it is listed, then just enable the checkbox.
