Export photo book in PDF format or to Blurb is corrupted

I can no longer correctly export my new book created in Lightroom Classic either as a pdf or as an export to Blurb.

I initialized it in November 24 and when I re-opened it in January, the photos (and retouching) had been rotated by 90°. I corrected the whole album. The display in LrC is now correct, but if I save as a pdf or export to Blurb, the photos are still rotated by 90° (see screenshots).

I'm in version 14.1.1. I've tried to reload a backup of the November catalog but the problem persists.

I'm desperate because this book represents 2 whole weeks of work.

That sounds really frustrating, and I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Thanks for sharing the screenshots! It looks like one page of the book has the images rotated—am I seeing that right, or are there more pages being affected? Were the affected images originally shot in that orientation?

One thing we can try is resetting the LrC preferences. Resetting preferences gives Lightroom a fresh start and can often resolve various issues. Here's how to do it: https://adobe.ly/3WNq2tJ

Thank you very much Alek for your interest in my problem.

As advised, I've reset the settings but the problem is still there.

To answer your questions: the problem exists on all the pages of my photo book (40 at this stage).
I've gone into more detail: horizontal photos are not affected. The problem only concerns photos taken vertically. Photos taken with a Canon SLR are not affected. On the other hand, virtually all photos taken in vertical format with a Samsung smartphone are rotated in the export (with very few exceptions).
I also observed another surprising phenomenon: at least one vertical photo had been retouched using generative AI. In the export, the photo is rotated but not the generated part...

Thanks so much for diving deeper into the details and sharing those images. This is definitely unusual behavior, so I'll be escalating this to the right team. It would be really helpful if you could share your System Info with us as well. You can find it in Lightroom Classic under Help > System Info. Just copy the info to a text file and attach it to your response. It could also be helpful to know the model of the smartphone you shot the affected photos with.
