Export with keywords

I will be exporting many images from DNG to jpg files. All images have a keyword, title and description. After they are exported, the keywords, title and description are gone.
In the export image it is selected; all metadata, and ticked the three choices.
I use windows 10, LrC 12.3

Hello, I have the same issue when I export images from Lightroom Classic none of the keywords appear in when using "Get Info" on Mac. Another post suggested they should be visible under "More Info" thanks for your help.

Hi @Thomas Harry35471452kc69Welcome to the forums! Let's try to figure out this issue together and try some of the following:

  1. Verify Metadata Settings: Ensure the metadata settings are correctly configured. Go to File > Export and in the Metadata section, make sure that "Include All Metadata" is selected. Also, ensure that "Remove Person Info" and "Remove Location Info" are unchecked.
  2. Check Keyword Export Options: In the Keywording panel, ensure the keywords are set to be exported. You can do this by selecting the photos in the Library module, then checking the Keywording panel to ensure that the "Will Export" section includes the keywords.
  3. Update Lightroom Classic: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Lightroom Classic. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that might resolve your issue.
  4. Test with a Single Image: Try exporting a single image with the same settings to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the specific images or the export settings.

Just a thought, do you insert keywords, title and description using Lightroom or another application?

P.S., during the export LrC is reading info from the Catalog it does not read info from the file.

I enter keywords, title and description in Lightroom. Does not use any other image processing programs than LrC and PS. I have done that for many years, which has always gone well. It may seem that it is after the last update that this happens. But I'm not entirely sure.

I suggest the following steps to make further progress on this problem:

 

1. Choose a sample photo in the catalog for which the problem occurs.

 

2. Upload the photo and the exported version to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar and post the sharing link here.

 

3. Attach a screenshot of the Metadata panel showing the Keywording panel and the Metadata panel (showing the caption).

In the Metadata section of the Export dialog box, what is selected in the Include menu?

How are you checking for the presence of keywords, title, and description in the exported photos?

    In LRC. I check the keywords tab, in the title and description. Title is included, but not keywords or description. In addition, I deliver images via Filezilla to an image agency, they also say that keywords are not included. Which it has done so far.
