Exporting photos from Lightroom classic CC to Facebook

I am unable to transfer corrected images from Lightroom Classic CC to Facebook.

I end up with the basic camera image, not straight, not color corrected, and not enhanced.

It basically defaults to the basic photo.  Is what I want possible?

All the edits you do in LR are not applied to the image directly. They are only displayed in LR. To get the edits to be part of the image file you must Export them. During the export process the edits are burnt, added, into the image.

LR is a Non destructive editor. It make no changes to the original file. So when you drag and drop them into Apple Photos none of the edits you have done are carried over.

Please explain the exact steps you are taking.

Are you first exporting the image as a JPG file in LR and then uploading them to Facebook?

    What are your export settings.

Thanks for taking up my question! I have a lot of problems getting photos in or out from Lightroom CC.

I correct all photos in Lightroom CC,  such as parallel lines,  color balance, shadow and highlight detail.

I use the complete gamut of enhancements possible.  it stands to reason that with all my efforts that really lake my photos

look great, I should have the possibilities to show the improvement in all my downloads, including Facebook.

Right now I drag all the enhanced photos from the filmstrip in Lightroom CC into  apple's photo editing photo editing software also called photos. Then I go to Facebook and I find the pictures under Media PHOTO and choosing the ones I want..

Unfortunately the pictures are unedited and are the original photos from the camera.

In other words, what I am doing is not right .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
