Buenos días:
Necesito saber qué función tienen los ficheros *.dat ubicados en C:\Users\*Usuario*\AppData\Local\Adobe\CameraRaw\Cache, que ocupan un gran espacio en disco duro. ¿Se pueden borrar?
Muchas gracias

Hi Jose,

Thanks for reaching out, we are here to help! The folder & files which you have highlighted are cache files for the Adobe Camera Raw which plays a key role in handling your Raw image files.

To know more about Adobe Camera Raw, please check here

https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/supported-cameras.html

To help manage the storage used by Adobe Camera Raw as cache storage you can follow below mentioned steps.

  • Choose Lightroom > Preferences (macOS) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).
  • Click the Performance Tab.

  • In the Camera Raw Cache Settings area, experiment with a Maximum Size of 10.0 GB or more.
  • You may choose Purge Cache to clean up some space.
  • Click Choose and navigate to the location where you want to store the cache if you have limited space on the default drive location.

Please let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Sameer Kumar
