I still do not have adequate answers as to the failures of metadata templates in Adobe Bridge.
A colleague suggested I try entering metadata in Lightroom Classic. I have had some success with that, but then other problems surfaced:
I am having problems with not all of the photos imported to the Lightroom catalog appearing with the metadata in either the display of my hard drive folder structure in Lightroom or in Bridge.
In other words:
1. all of the images appear in "previously import" under catalog list with the metadata I have entered. First screenshot below.
2. Only some of these appear below in the hard drive folders -- In this case for LUS Lacie (K:). All of the images previously imported were imported from these same folders from the hard drive. Second screenshot.
3. The original files and folders are all still visible in Bridge, but many lack metadata entered in Lightroom Classic. Third screenshot.
Can you help with this? I have tried to call support and did not get through after long waits.
