Hi @cooldood144, welcome to the community!
It might be related to a capitalization error. Could you check out the steps in this guide and see if that helps?

If the parent folder(s) of this 2023 folder are text, the capitalization issue could be the cause.

Hover the mouse over the first 2023 folder in the Folders panel until the full file path appears. Take a screenshot (not a phone pic) and post it here. Repeat for the second 2023 folder.  (Don't blur out any parts of the path, please -- there's no security need for that, since revealing your user name doesn't provide a hacker any practical advantage.)

So it doesn't appear this is the capitalization bug.

1. Is your catalog folder also stored on a folder managed by Onedrive?  If you're not sure, do Catalog Settings > General > Show.  Storing the catalog folder in a Onedrive folder has been reported to cause all sorts of problems.

2. You might be tripping over a problem that someone else recently encountered. To verify:

a Right-click the first 2023 folder and do Show Parent Folder. Keep doing that on the parent folder until you C: is showing as the root folder.

b. Repeat that process for the ancestor of the second 2023 folder until C: is showing at the top.

c. Post a screenshot showing both 2023 folders and their ancestors.

Thanks for this.  I now OneDrive is an issue.  However it has been in my OneDrive for 3-4 years.  I never open my LRC or the pics on any other device so it has been ok.  I will post the pics in the monring

Please complete the steps I outlined above:

"2. You might be tripping over a problem that someone else recently encountered. To verify:

"a. Right-click the first 2023 folder and do Show Parent Folder. Keep doing that on the parent folder until you C: is showing as the root folder.

"b. Repeat that process for the ancestor of the second 2023 folder until C: is showing at the top.

"c. Post a screenshot showing both 2023 folders and their ancestors."

When you're done, each top level folder should be C:.  It should look similar to this:

johnrellis_1-1762964796504.png

If you get an error message while trying to complete this, please post a screenshot of the error.

Completing these precise steps will identify the proper next steps to take.

@cooldood144 , Just a thought, right click on the 2023 folder at the top and there should be an option " Show Parent folder" click the option and see what it shows.

On the top 2023 folder I click show parent folder and I get this.

cooldood144_0-1762955088105.png

So maybe Pictures is this issue with the capilization?

I am not really sure this is creating any issues other than testing my OCD  🙂

I do have a backup of my catlog.  Does it make sense to just restore it to a folder not in OneDrive such as

C:\pictures?

I am ssuming I can restore a back to a new location.

the problem folder ifI click show parent it show the 2023 folder.  If I try to hide parent I get error

An internal error has occurred Database CLRCLightroom Catalog-vl3-3.lrcat

"UNIQUE constraint failed AgLibraryFolder.rootFolder..."

You're tripping over a similar catalog inconsistency (corruption) as another person recently.  They worked around the issue using these steps from Adobe support:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/lrc-15-0-upgrade-missing-folders-but-no...

This workaround will loose any published collections in publish services like Flickr or Smugmug, but it often corrects such errors.  You won't lose your current catalog if you decide to stick with it.

It may be that storing the catalog on cloud-synced folders like Onedrive makes this kind of error a little  more likely, since the syncing interferes with LR's ability to update the catalog database consistently.

@cooldood144 , " two of ever collection" ??.

LrC Collections are not folders.

Could you post a screen capture of what you are seeing.

It looks like sync with LR cloud created the duplicates, failing to recognize the collections already existed. In your screenshot, most of the duplicates have the same numbers of photos, though some  have somewhat different counts.
