fuji film simulations import

Question

Hi Folks,I may be missing something really obvious here and apologies in advance if that's the case.I import RAW files from my Fujifilm XT1 into Lightroom CC and the Camera Cailbration Profile in the Develop module always comes in as Adobe Standard, instead of the film simulation used. I've just come back from Edinburgh with 200 pix shot with Fuji Classic Chrome or Fuji Monochrome and have had to change them all by hand, a small but irritating problem.I've had a look in Preferences and can't see an option to preserve the colour option of the original file.Any advice appreciated.CheersStu

You have to set it to the desired camera profile then in the Develop menu item, while in the Develop module select "Set Default Settings" and click the button "Update to current settings". Also in the LR preferences on the Presets tab in the Default Develop Setting section, right at the top, put a check mark in "Make Defaults specific to camera serial number". Then all new Fuji X-T1 imported images will use the camera/film profile you have selected.

Take a look at Plugin Preview – jb-X-LR which reads the Fuji film simulation and sets the profile automatically. I'd be interested in your feedback.
