I try to remove a person from a picture with ai. LRC adds a new person instead. What am I doing wrong.

You must not only select the person, but also everything else that 'belongs' to that person, such as its shadow, any reflections, etc. If not, then AI Remove will try to match the new pixels with those things, and thus create a new person.

It is extremely funny when it does this and seemingly seems to insist there should be a person there (and usually the AI generated person is pretty nightmarish in their appearance) but yeah it almost always is due to not brushing the entire person and any evidence of that person being there away.

Thanks, that was the solution. Thinking about it, it's completly logic.

It is important to brush outside the edges of the person so that AI gets a sense of the surrounding background.

Simply selecting the 'person' with an exact selection will give you a replacement person.
