GPS coordinates format change

How do I change the GPS coordinates format in LRC? The default format is DDD° MM" SS.SS'

which is fine I guess, but all of my other apps use the DD.DDDD format. I read earlier today that all that one needs to do is click the arrow to the right of the location metadata info. That doesn't work the format remains the same. Is there something I need to change in the preferences dialog?

Unfortunately, Lightroom Classic does not currently provide a built-in option to change the GPS format display within the interface or preferences dialog. The arrow next to the GPS coordinates opens a map or a link to an external service like Google Maps, but it doesn’t change the format itself. If you need to view or copy the coordinates in DD.DDDD format, you’ll have to convert them manually using an external converter or paste them into Google Maps, which automatically interprets and displays them in decimal form.

You need to ALT-click the right arrow. That will open Google Maps in your browser to those GPS coordinates and the position is listed in both formats. You can then copy and paste the preferred format.

So far as I know there is no way to get LrC to change the GPS format.

Well that's what I figured Adobe should make it an option. I don't use Lightroom mobile, and according to the information I read you need an active Internet connection to do that.

They can but I have to convert the format from one to the other. Not to
mention it is way faster just enter numbers and a decimal point.

I'm afraid I don't understand this statement. I asked if the other apps can use the LrC GPS format, and you say "They can" but then you have to convert the format (why? if they can use the LrC GPS format).
