GPS export difficulties

Hey! It sounds like you're running into a common issue with Lightroom's export settings. Even though your original iPhone RAW photos contain GPS metadata and Lightroom displays them correctly on the map, the problem likely lies in your export preferences. By default, Lightroom may be set to strip location metadata for privacy reasons during export. To fix this, go to the Export dialog box, scroll to the Metadata section, and make sure that either "All Metadata" is selected, or at least that the "Remove Location Info" checkbox is unchecked. Once you do this, your exported JPGs should retain the GPS coordinates just like they do when using Apple Photos. Give that a try and you should be good to go!

Are they assigned to a saved location that has the Private option enabled?

How are you checking that the exported file is missing the GPS info?

Import one of the exported files back into LR -- does LR show the coordinates in the Metadata > Location panel?

For the RAW photo in question, see if a metadata conflict is shown in Library module right side panels.

In the Export module check the Metadata section to see if Remove Location Info is checked.
