GPU rendering Stops processing.

Hello,
first my system:

I7 7700K with 32GB ram and RTX 2080 TI.
Nvidia driver: 456.71 is the newest.
LR version: Was only updated yesterday.

I have a problem with the GPU support. As soon as I edit the imported images in development, for example I want to scale them. The gear with GPU rendering appears at the bottom right. And I can't edit any more pictures.
To do this, I have to restart LR, but the same error occurs every time.

Only the error message appears under the default setting: GPU was deactivated due to an error and I have to restart.

If I switch off the GPU support under the default settings, it works, but the CPU load is very high. And it's not so nice to work.

I have the problem with previous LR versions.
I edit RAW and JPEG.

I think you already answered your question!

For whatever reason LrC V10 does not work correctly with whatever GPU is installed in your system OR the Driver for that GPU is out of date and not compatible.

Either switch it to Off and or Update the drive. If updating the driver doesn't fix your problem then you need to switch it off and use just the CPU for your editing.

Why should I turn off the GPU if my GPU is compatible with Adobe? The GPU has already updated / upgraded several versions. The mistake remained. The restart of Windows 10 did not bring anything.

I don't know what "scale them" means. I don't know what "the gear with GPU rendering appears at the bottom right" means. Can you explain further and/or show us some screen captures?
