Question

Grainy RAW images

About 3 month ago I upgraded to the Canon R6 Mark II and after I upload my images they are grainy and not as sharp as I would like. I shoot RAW and upload to Lightroom. Take this photo for example. Below are the specs. Is this grain normal or am I being nitpicky? If I use an ISO over 800 it is even worse. I want to be excited about this camera so hopefully I can get a little advise. Thank you in advance.

Exposure: 1/250 @ f/5.0

ISO 320

Pode ser a configuração da câmera. Estou com uma R3 e notei esse problema. Pode tentar resolver isso no menu da Câmera em redução de ruido alta sensibilidade/ISO

I should add that 100% view is an important reference point.

At this magnification, one image pixel is represented by one screen pixel, giving you a true representation of the image.

Any other magnification will be inaccurate and misleading because the image has been scaled.

Scaling involves sharpening and smoothing, and can make the image appear noisier/less noisy or sharper/less sharp than it really is, depending on the application used and the magnification.

All applications will display identically at 100%.

Also note that evaluation of sharpness and noise, and application of sharpening and noise reduction has to done at 100%. If you use a different magnification, you can't see what you're doing.

What Profile did you apply? The Adobe Standard? Try Adobe Standard, or perhaps a Camera Matching profile.

When viewed at 100%, I don't see any noise at all, and the image is sharp.

Looks perfectly fine to me.
