Hi brains trust

my adobe has crashed and when re opening it shows photos in the bottom tool bar. (0 of 1000) but there is no preview.

I have gone through previous to the crash and colour selected my pics I wish to edit. But when re opening there is no preview

any thoughts on what can be causing this?

Please post a screen capture along with the system information found in the help menu.

Do you see ! on the photos in the grid or ? on the folders in the folder panel?

.. or simply click on "None" in the Filter bar ... 😉

However, in the screen capture he posted, there are no filters active.

There is no simple issue with filters here. The crash may have corrupted the helper data, or the catalog. @todd37035365mpfc try this first: Open your catalog folder and look for 'Catalogname Helper.lrdata'. Delete it and then start Lightroom Classic again. Does this solve it? If not, try resetting the preferences: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

Did that help? If again it did not, do you have a catalog backup from before the crash?
