Help! LR CC Classic keeps crashing and ejecting my 2 external Hard Drives and SD card

I have a 2016 Macbook Pro. Not even had it a year yet. Just in the last couple of weeks, when I am using LR (mostly when switching from LR to finish edits in PS) LR crashes and ejects all of my external drives. A couple of times, the photos I edited and saved to my external drive just disappeared and I had to re-edit. When it crashes and I reload, it says something along the lines "Lightroom quit unexpectedly. Need to check the integrity of 'insert catalog name'". Anyone deal with this? It's slowing my workflow down a whole lot and I'm about at my wits end. TIA!

Hi nwjb3131,

Sorry that you're facing multiple issues with Lightroom Classic CC.

I'd start with the error message you're getting regarding the catalog, please check out the steps mentioned in this article Recover catalog and images after resetting preferences in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and recover your catalog.

Also, which exact version of Lightroom Classic CC are you using? check for any available updates Keeping Lightroom Up-to-Date

Thanks,

Akash
