Help! Lightroom 6. MacOs Catalina 10.15.7. Just last week I open LR6 and get splash page and crash every single time. No resolve. I contacted Adobe and they say its an OS issue. Apple Mac specialist says cannot restore comp to previous update without a hard wipe and reinstall. Adobe says Creative Cloud did not uninstall my LR6, but they did. I need my LR6 back so I can work on all these photos. I will wipe my computer to get older OS, but I need Adobe to reinstall my LR6. Up a creek with no paddle does not feel good or fun. Any ideas everyone?

You can download version 6.14 here: https://prodesigntools.com/prdl-download/Lightroom/60BA1251F1BC48B8B82B1B63AE8E620E/1552642986882/Li...
Bcause it has a 32-bit installer, it can't be installed on Catalina and later.

I had catalina for 2 years and it worked just fine until 2 weeks ago. Per Apple - there were only 2 major updates to Catalina and it didnt occur recently. Per Apple, becuase of the logo it shows LR6 is not fully 32-bit, as there is no grey circle with a slash through it - per other 32-bit rendered obsolete apps. Per Adobe part of LR6 must be 32-bit and 64-bit - either way we do not service it anymore. I was able to get LR6 a different, trusted way. However, my entire MacOs and system is old and messed up - not to mention my LR catalog, pre-settings and settings. I either keep LR6 and rebuild on this system forever, or I ditch and get a new Photo app. Pigeon-holed again in 2021. Have a great day and 2021!

Update: LR6 does not work on MacOS after 10.13 (aka High Sierra). The bigger issue is once you get to Catalina - Apple re-partitions your HD and you can't go back unless you have backup or wipe Mac clean. Also, the only way to get back to 10.13 is to bootable update, which requires a 14gb ext HD or FlashD. I am going this route and will update again once solved. Adobe has helped me redownload my perpetual LR6 license, but no longer tech supports LR6 or earlier. Hence this forum. Thanks all!
