Helps with moving LrC from Laptop to desktop. .Even a pointer to an up to date tutorial would work.

Hi could someone recommend  a specific tutorial on how to successfully move my LrC from my laptop to a desktop. Currently contains about 9000 sorted and partially worked on photos.  I would classify myself as a experienced beginner, but being self taught have gaps in my knowledge.
