How do I create a preset folder

Does anyone know how to create a Presets folder in Lightroom Classic CC 7.4 for Mac? I have tried right-clicking in the presets panel, to no avail. I also navigated to the Develop Presets folder in Finder and created folders there, which do not show up in the Presets panel.

Correct answer Rob_Cullen

A work-around method to create a new Group (Folder) in the Presets panel is-

1.Create a new Preset (anything at all- it can be deleted later*)

2. In the dialog [Group] box, from the drop-down menu - click the 'New Group' option, name the new Group,

3. Save the Preset

You now have the new Group folder where you can add new user presets.

*If you 'empty' the Group folder of presets the Group folder will also disappear from the Presets panel..

The new presets do not use folders anymore. You can organise them in groups when you create them, but that kind of organisation is kept in the preset itself. John R Eliis has made a plugin that can sync groups and folders. Fix Presets Lightroom Plugin

You would have to edit the presets' xml files, changing the group field value to whatever "folder name" you want.
