Since Adobe is too lazy to build a remapping tool for Lightroom you have to find your own workarounds. I'm, sure there are several other ways to do this, but this is the way i found working best for me. If you know other ways to add keyboard shortcuts for Lightroom on Mac please write them in this thread.
This is where I found this (all credits to): Adobe Lightroom - Remapping Keyboard Shortcuts
Go to:
System Preferences(Mac OS)>Keyboard>Shortcuts
On the left panel, click on:
App Shortcuts
Here you are going to add the Lightroom shortcuts, do this by clicking on the "+" under the right side panel.
Then click on the "Application" drop down menu, at the bottom select "Other..." Find your Lightroom file and click "add" on the bottom right. Lightroom is now in the drop down menu.
To add a shortcut click on "Adobe Lightroom Classic CC" in the drop down menu.
In the "Menu Title" write the function that you want to add a shortcut to. For example "Zoom In Some" Note that it is sensitive to upper-case and lower-case letters etc.
In the "Keyboard Shortcut" box, click the key combination that you want to use for the selected function.
Then click "Add" on the bottom right.
Thats it!
Now you can go open Lightroom and the keyboard shortcut should start working instantly.
I hope this will help some people out!
