I am looking for some help clearing a selection from the keyword list.
In the right hand menu, I open the Keyword List. I then select the a Keyword, a Person in this case. The grid View changes and shows all pictures with this keyword.
Question: When i want to clear the current Keyword selection, how do I do that?
I tried clicking again on the keyword, right-clicking on the keyword, and hovered over boxes to the left and the right of the keyword. None of them appear to unselect the Keyword
i tought this would be straigthforward, but I must be missing something....
Thanks!

When you have a Grid view of images, then the Keyword list will show check boxes to indicate the status of the SELECTED images.
An 'Empty' box indicate that- NO selected images have this Keyword (box only appears when hover cursor)
A 'Check tick' indicates that -ALL of the selected images have this Keyword.
A 'dash' [-] indicates that only -SOME of the selected images have this Keyword.
You can click the cursor on the check box to 'Add' or 'Delete' a keyword to or from the selected images.
Clicking on a [-] indicator will add a tick and add the keyword to ALL of the selected images.

Question: When i want to clear the current Keyword selection, how do I do that?
So to answer the question-
1) Click on the arrow at the far-right end of a Keyword (for a 'Filter' view)
2) Press [Ctrl+A] to select ALL of the images with this Keyword. (or select specific images only [Ctrl+L-click]
3) Cursor click on the indicator box to 'empty' (or Delete) this keyword from the selected images.
You will see the Images disappear from the 'Filter' screen as the Keyword is removed.

WobertC, thanks for your replies. Not sure if I explained it correctly.
I have selected a Keyword , and the Grid View only shows pictures that have that Keyword assigned.
How do I get to see all my pictures again?
In other words, I do not want to remove the Keyword from the pictures, but I want to stop filtering on that particular keyword.
Thanks!

Click on [None] and the metadata filter closes. Or [Ctrl+L]
You are then back to the Library Grid view that shows all the photos in your selected Folder, or "All Photographs" (in the Catalog panel)
