An upgrade to a catalog (eg. v6 > v14) uses a copy of the catalog to upgrade. If you search in Windows folders with File Explorer you will find your original v6 catalog. Be aware that by installing the CC Desktop App even your Lr6 has converted to a subscription version (possibly with 30days trial). For me and many others, the "Make a Second Copy to:" feature is not considered particularly useful as it does not create a mirrored folder structure in that second copy (so restoring missing or deleted photos from a 'second copy' becomes a nightmare.) Many that do use it might consider it only as a 'temporary' backup of files until the imported image files are backed up independently of Lr-Classic thus preserving the imported folder structure. Migration from Aperture and iPhotos was, and is TBMK, only for Lightroom-Classic (and previous versions 1-6 that were formally known simply as "Lightroom"). Lightroom-Classic is not an "online" version.  (Only Install and activation uses the Desktop App online.) The 'Back button' in Lightroom-Classic is the History panel (as stated by dj Paige above). Click on any step in the History. And there is a [Reset] button to remove all edits. "from several previous book and I dont need them for a book again" For a new book I think you will find that if you click on the [Clear Book] tab you will limit the photos on the filmstrip only to the Folder or Collection that you have selected for the book. You can then run [Auto Layout] again if wanted. But you MUST then click the [Create Saved Book] to create a special 'Book Collection' - You will ALWAYS then use this new book collection whenever you want to edit this saved book.   The problem of extra unwanted images appearing on the filmstrip has been a problem for some years. quoted from an Adobe staff member- "Until you have created a "Saved Book Collection" the Book module does not 'know' what photos you want for the book so it pulls in all recent photos from books and folders. On a canvas 195 x 98 pixels  you are bound to see the pixel detail. Windows Photo would be applying a 'smoothing' action to the image. Lightroom (Cloud based on mobile devices or desktop) for imported photos, does not use Folders in the traditional sense as we might understand them with local files on a PC or Mac. Imports to Lightroom simply adds/imports and syncs the images to the Lightroom Cloud (in one large simple database). You can create Albums in Lightroom by adding selected photos to an Album, and you can then gather Albums in a Lightroom 'Folder'  but again this is not a folder 'as we know it'.!
