How to contact Adobe for a complex Lightroom Classic problem that affects my business.

How do I talk with Lightroom Classic support by phone?  I have a complex problem not being able to print larger than 17 x 20 on a Canon Pro-1000.  Over two days, I spent 5 1/2 hours with three Canon support technicians.  I have also spent 1 hour with two Apple Senior Advisors.  They have both convinced me the problem probably lies with Adobe.  It is a complex issue and it doesn't lend itself to chatting.

The first time I contacted Adobe, the technician just stopped the chat with no reason.  The seconed time, after answering the technician's first question I was put on hold. After 1/2 hour I asked if I could get a wait time estimate.  Two and a half hours later, I am still waiting.

To make a living, I need to be able to print.  And I can't.

In any Adobe application, or any Adobe website, select "contact us" that will start a chat, address your issue in the chat and be assertive in requiring a phone call.

I finally found a phone number and a way to chat with Adobe support about Lightroom Classic. (For other Adobe apps, it's probably similar).

  1. In Lightroom Classic, click on the Help menu.
  2. Choose "Lightroom Classic Help."
  3. Adobe's support web page will open (https://helpx.adobe.com/support/lightroom-classic.html?mv=product&mv2=lr#),
  4. In the lower right, there is a chat symbol. Click on it to begin a chat.
  5. Don't bother clicking on "Contact Us. Real help from real people." It sends you to another support page and, now, you're caught in an endless loop of hopelesness.

BONUS: When you click the symbol to start the chat, there is a phone number for support (I'm in the USA, so it may be different for others): 800-833-6687. WRITE IT DOWN for future reference.

I haven't chatted yet, so I don't know if I'll get GOOD support. But I'm about to find out.

While you may be successful at contacting Adobe, the general feeling is that they don't do very well handling complex problems. But, I do wish you good luck.

Do other apps print normally on larger paper? If I were you I would export to a rightly sized tiff and print from Photoshop or even preview. I don't know how to fix the problem you are referring to but if your business depends on it, printing from a different app would be a workaround.
