how to download Lightroom Classic CC

how to download Lightroom Classic CC, I have creative cloud and it downloads some latest lightroom version that I am not liking it.

Just to keep everything clear despite Adobe's terribly confusing names: there is no software named Lightroom Classic CC, there is software named Lightroom Classic.

If you have subscribed to the Adobe Photography Plan (have you?) then you should be able to download and install Lightroom Classic from the Creative Cloud application. If you have not subscribed to the Adobe Photography Plan, then you can still download it and install it as a 7-day free trial; after the 7 days you will have to pay for a subscription to the Adobe Photography Plan.

Yes, i am looking for just Lightroom classic and I just learned there are two versions of lightroom.

I think I need to change my plan to have classic and not the other one. So, should I subscribe to photography plan to get that classic version ?

The Photography Plan is the only way* to get Lightroom Classic. If you are not subscribed to the Photography Plan right now, you can go to account.adobe.com and click on Manage Plan and then click on Change Your Plan.

* — I suppose you could subscribe to (and pay for) the plan that includes all Adobe software and get Lightroom Classic that way. It's a lot more expensive however.

Thanks. I am able to upgrade to photography plan and now install classic on my computer. Feels good to use that
