Hi All,
I just upgraded my 2021 Macbook Pro from Catalina to Ventura 13.7.1. When I go to use my Lightroom Classic catalog it comes up with an error. While it says my catalog is too new I know it is the other way around - my OS is too new for the older catalog version - I went through this before. However...
How can I download the right version of Lightroom Classic to my laptop without exceeding my OS? The only version I see in Adobe Creative Cloud is 14.1. I am concerned that I will overshoot my current OS and have more problems. What do I do??
And, my clock is ticking on deadlines... many thanks!

That sounds fine. Lightroom Classic 14.1 is the latest version, and it requires macOS 13 or later.

The MACOS requirement is macOS Ventura (version 13.1) or later, So LrC v14.1 should wotk on Ventura 13.7.1.
If you open an existing catalog and you get an error that the catalog is too new, then you hve an old LrC version, and a new LeC catalog.
Do you have more than one computer and are you attempting to open a catalog on an external hard drive that both computers can use? Perhaps with different LrC versions? Do you somehow have two copy's of LrC on one computer? (new version and old version like v13 and v14)
LrC v14 will start to open a v13 catalog, it will upgrade it, winding up with a new catalog. LrC v13 cannot open a v14 catalog.
