How to import "ratings" [from CSV table]

Hi

Maybe i just need to know a word to search for,

I have a shoot with approx 1500 photos from whole day of shooting at an event. I have shared the lot with the "customer" and the have select the 800 the like most (and yes i know it is a lot).

Can i some how "import" the 800 pick into LR, getting a rating, colour flag or any thing done from a test file or alike ?

My best option is now to use the selected list to update the contences of the folder (delete all none selected) for all the photo using a small script, but I like to know if LR has some option for importing/update based on a csv file or alike

As far as I know it isn't possible.
