How to solve problem with xmp and lrtemplate brushes

Question

I have a problem with new bought xmp brushes because, when I install it (old and new one) in Lr 2020 it was not showing .xmp brushes but showing old .lrtemplate brushes. In Phostosop, in Camera Raw, is oposite - it shows .xmp brushes but not showing .lrtemplate brushes?!

I am totally confused!

I put old and new brushes in AppData>Roaming>Adobe>Lightroom>Local Adjustment Presets and it shows in Lr only the old one with extension lrtemplate, and put the same set in AppData>Roaming>Adobe>Camera Raw>LocalCorrections but it shows in Ps only new xmp brushes?

What a mess!

Current situation is still this-

Lightroom-Classic uses .LRTEMPLATE files for the Brush presets stored in:

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Local Adjustment Presets

(only Develop Presets use the .XMP filetype)

Adobe Camer Raw Editor uses .XMP files for the Brush presets, stored in:

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LocalCorrections

So if you bought Brush PRESETS, you can only place the relevant filetype in its correct folder location.

If placed correctly in the folders as above- Do the same Brush presets appear in both Lr & ACR? ie. Did you receive the same presets for both Lr & ACR?

There is a manual method to copy Brush Presets from Lr to ACR if needed.
