That is not enough description of your problem for anyone here to help you.

You need to explain in some detail what you are doing, and if possible, show screen shots or a video.

Make sure that you are not accidentally adjusting a slider in the general panel as opposed to the masking panel. This is usually what is going on on posts just like yours.

A similar problem to watch out for is having the Masks panel open, but no mask is actually selected. In this case, moving a slider isn’t adjusting any mask, just the default for the next mask.

More likely, a Mask isn't selected.
