can someone please tell me how to install icc profile into lightroom and photoshop.

mac os 

i just cant get my head around it i bet its a really simple process

ICC profiles are installed in your operating system, where they will be available to all applications that need them.

I'm not a Mac user, but an Internet search for "install icc profile mac"  brings up many results, like this one.

Do you really mean icc-profiles, or did you received some Lightroom camera profiles from somebody? These are very different things. As @Per Berntsen said, icc-profiles are installed in the OS, not in individual apps. Lightroom camera profiles are installed by choosing 'File - Import Develop Profiles and Presets' in Lightroom Classic.
