Importieren von spezifischen Dateitypen

Hallo liebe Community,

Ich bin Neuling in Lightroom CC und habe deshalb folgende Frage:

ich würde gerne wissen ob es möglich ist im Importfenster nach spezifischen Dateitypen zu suchen.

Ich habe eine Ordnerstruktur auf einer externen Festplatte; dort liegen sowohl .raw als auch .tiff Dateien.

Meine Fotos sind nach Datum in Alben sortiert auf der Festplatte; .raw und .tiff Dateien liegen zusammen im jeweiligen Unterordner.

Nun möchte ich gerne alle .tiff Dateien auf einmal in meinen Lightroom Katalog aufnehmen. Anders ausgedrückt, ich möchte im Importfenster meinen gesamten Fotoordner nach .tiff Dateien durchleuchten und importieren.

Wenn ich Unterordner mit einbeziehe werden mir alle Fotos der jeweiligen Unterordner angezeigt, jedoch funktioniert eine Sortierung nach Dateityp nicht.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit dieses Problem zu beheben?

Use a filter-

1. Click on "Metadata"

2. Set one of the filter columns to show "File type"

If you do not have a column for "File type"- click the drop-down arrows beside any column header title and choose from the menu.

You can also save your 'Filter Search' as a Preset for faster re-use.

Click the drop-down arrows beside "Custom Filter"

Thanks for the fast suggestion!

Unfortunately this is only a workaround. This suggest that i need to import all of my files first, then filter out .tiff files afterwards.

What i would like to do is to directly import only .tiff files from my harddrive. I have a large amount of .raw files and only a handful of .tiff files from previous edits. I would like to only import those. The amount of pictures imported would be way too high otherwise.

The sorting option in the import window does not work for me for some reason. I need a way in the import window to search through a folder with subfolders for a specific file type in order to import only those.

Sorry, I missed the reference to "Import".

If you have a Mac computer, you may be lucky.  I have read that with a Mac you can Import files by dragging them from a Finder window onto the Lr Import window.  (MS-Windows will not do this!)

So with a Mac you may be able to do a filter search with Finder to locate the TIFFs, then drag them to the Import window.

I do not know a way with MS-Windows

You could Import ALL files (I know you say you have "many")  but use 'Add' and 'Minimal' previews, NO metadata, NO presets,  to speed the import, then SORT the "Previous Import" folder in the Catalog Panel (by the metadata filter), select all the RAWs and 'Remove' them from the Catalog. (****CAUTION: Do NOT DELETE from DISK)

Other experts may know of a Plugin that can do what you ask.
